What does rot8 actually do?
We design, build, and ship custom software for founders and product teams in Europe. Web apps, mobile apps, MVPs, embedded engineering. We take projects from idea to production, or join the team you've already built. We don't do brand, marketing sites, or pure offshore augmentation.
Who is rot8 for?
Founders raising or recently-raised, product teams that need senior leverage fast, and non-technical operators with a product to build. Our typical client is between pre-seed and Series B and needs senior leverage now, not in 9 months.
How is this different from hiring a team?
Hiring your first five engineers takes 9–15 months and clears €400k before a single line of production code. We hand you that team by Monday — shipping in week two, handing you the keys when you're ready. You buy velocity. Headcount comes later, when it should.
What does it cost?
Three engagement shapes with published minimums: Sprint (2 weeks, fixed scope, from €15k), Ship (8–16 weeks MVP, from €60k), Embed (monthly retainer with a senior team, from €18k/month). Final price depends on scope. See Pricing.
